Getting Around
From the Airport to Campus
- TCAT Bus 32 runs several times a day between 7:50AM - 9:50PM. From the Airport inbound to Ithaca you get off at Goldwin Smith Hall. Then head to Mews Hall for lodging or Physical Sciences Building for the summer school classes.
- Taxi from the Airport to campus is around $16. Call 607-277-7777. Ask for Mews Hall for lodging or Physical Sciences Building for the summer school classes.
Campus to Downtown Ithaca
Downtown has shops, night life, groceries, and more restaurants per capita than Manhattan.
- TCAT Bus 10 runs every ten minutes between campus and downtown. Pickup is at Goldwin Smith (across from Physical Science Building) and for downtown get off at Seneca St station.
- You can also walk by various routes.
Areas to Explore
- Collegetown for Coffee, Nightlife, Restaurants, Market. You can walk there (see map) or take the Route 10 bus.
- Cornell Plantations for natural areas and hiking trails accessible from Mews Hall.
- Cascidilla Gorge for waterfalls and hiking trails. The trailhead starts just as you cross the Central Ave bridge into Collegetown and heading West can take you downtown. Trail Map.
